I drove today! Granted, it was just around the farm. I really must remember not to cross my arms on the steering wheel. But I didn't run over any dogs, cats, or fences, and the car's intact, and so are my mom and I.

A few days ago, when we drove out here (we flew into Indianapolis and then rented a car and drove), we stopped at a gas station and my mom asked me if I wanted her to buy me anything. I told her "no" and then she asked me again. I said no again. So then she buys me a gigantic Mountain Dew slushie. She knows that I don't ingest caffeine that isn't chocolate, and that I loathe Mountain Dew. And then she acts surprised that I refuse to drink it. I'm still not sure what to make of that. :/

In other news, Ronald Reagan died today. My condolences to his family and his supporters. I don't agree with his politics but he was an admirable man.

And Smarty Jones lost the Belmont... didn't put down his nose and really get into it. Oh well...
