Sep. 18th, 2006 11:43 pmToday it was, as Quark would say, glebbening.
For those of you who aren't Trek geeks: that's bad. :p
I'm just glad I don't live on Northside anymore. I'm sure that Main Street's still a freaking lake after that storm. And it even knocked out Internet and TV for the better part of an hour.
---
Also, I am now the proud owner of the Barenaked Ladies' newest album. When I was doing a lyrics search on one of the songs, I found a message board comment that described this as "their White Album," which is really about right. Overall, I like it, but I have my nitpicks. It's nearly all acoustic, which is good, but somehow the vocals often tend to get overwhelmed by the instrumentals. I may or may not tweak that later (iTunes equalizer ftw)
---
Also also, somebody's showering in the really squeaky stall. There's a closet between the bathroom and here and my roommate and I can both still hear the knobs turning. *sigh*
