hopefulnebulaHowever, she provided moral support while I interviewed for a job at the Super Target by her house today (no, she wasn't in the actual interview part, just before and after.) It went well, but the way seasonal employment works, I won't know anything until mid-May. (Soonest I can work is early June, so that makes sense.)
We went to the Colorado Mills mall (which said Target is part of). It's about a 20 minute bus ride from her house and is fairly large, clean and well-run. Several stores that claim to be outlets but charge full price.
Qwest people blamed her phone problems on the weather, despite the fact that the phone's been buggy longer than the weather's been crap.
We spent some time in the arcade there. Gave the tickets we won to a little kid.
Oh. I got two pair of socks at target... one of which will look great under sandals. And I found this polo shirt that is the prettiest shade of purple ever, for cheap.
And exor, as a birthday present, has given me half of a Guild Wars: Factions preorder, two red roses (one for RL, one for my userinfo), an amethyst necklace, a bag of Smarties, a kitty mousepad and some Cadbury creme eggs.
good news: I now have enough RAM that my computer doesn't crap itself when I look at it wrong.
bad news: The hard drive's likely on the fritz, in which case it'll crap itself no matter how I look at it. I just hope it's covered under warranty.
