I don't know why I bother writing these, as the people reading it aren't the perpetrators. At any rate, one more open message to the people on my hall.

Look, I understand you have to do your dishes. I totally do. But why do you think it's OK to leave them piled up in the sink for hours at a time? Especially when the waterbottle on top has your name on it?

Aaaah, the hallmates. As a whole, very sweet but not very bright. ([livejournal.com profile] mabapunta and [livejournal.com profile] photosynthesize, this obviously isn't about you.)

(edited to fix a bad LJ tag. Sorry 'bout that, Darcy.)

I still don't get this "using-plates-and-utensils-while-at-college" thing that everyone is obsessed about. What could people possibly be eating that wouldn't go into a solo cup? Do you think you could start a "Dry Cheerios Diet" movement on your hall?

Did I ever mention my friend Vicky who lived with me in halls? She left her washing up (all marked with her initials) piled up on the sink in the belief that washing-up fairies would come and visit.

The sad thing is, they normally did after I got fed up of looking at the horde of unwashed plates.

Heh, that never happened to me when I was in college. Lucky me, right?
