Last night in the dorms, hey!
Last night in the dorms, w00t.

My mom just called from my aunt's. She's spending the night there and arriving here tomorrow afternoon. We're going to be hanging out/catching up then, I'll be sleeping in the hotel with her so I can take a real shower, and we're moving tomorrow. Depending on how long that takes, we'll either spend another night in the hotel, or go to Pat's that night. From then, we'll spend a couple days at Pat's, and then go home. I imagine the first night back will go something like this:

Athena: *stares up at me from atop my pillow, daring me to move her*
Me: OK, cat, move your butt.
Athena: *blinks in a way that could only mean "Pardon? You abandon me for nine months and then waltz back in here like nothing's happened? Find your own bed."*
Me: I mean it. Move.
Athena: *cocks head slightly*
Me: *picks up cat, puts cat on floor, gets under the covers*
Athena: *jumps back onto bed and starts chasing my feet*
Me: *kicks at cat*
Athena: *quits hunting the Foot Monsters and starts chewing on my nose*
Me: *stuffs cat under covers*
Athena: *pokes head out of covers* prrprrprrprrprrprr... *snore*
