May. 25th, 2005 04:59 pmOK, I have pictures for everyone. Do enjoy.
My aunt's animals first, starting with the dogs. This is Anya. Oldest of the bunch and starting to lose her vision and hearing.

This is Bitsy. She's the shy one.

And this is Rosie. She is the bouncy hyper happy one who seems like she's on crack or something. Very sweet, though, until she jumps up into your lap while you're not expecting it and you get a faceful of dog.

This is the baby horse. He was born on Oaks Day (that's the day before the Kentucky Derby, or May 6 this year) and he was two weeks old when I took these. He doesn't have a name yet but my aunt's thinking of calling him Rudy. His mom is named Kirah.

And this is Phoebe, Kirah's daughter. She's three now.

This is Gordo, Pat's indoor cat. He's new.

This is WD. Her name is technically Miss Kitty, but I call her WD because everything about her is rusty. Even her voice; she's a poor mute little kitty and can only kind of squeak. Very sweet; I wish I could take her home. One time she snuck into the house through the backdoor and Rosie cornered her on a chair, and I heard her little broken meow from across the house.

This is Rover, one of the barn cats. He's friendly but not very outgoing.

I'm sure you all know Olivia. I haven't seen her since coming back but this was on the camera. That's my sister holding her, and Olivia's parents on the right.

And here's my Athena, checking out one of the boxes I used to ship my stuff back.

The other reason why I stayed in Kentucky after exams was to go to the commencement ceremony. I have a few friends who graduated, and Barbara Kingsolver was the speaker. I got some pics of me with Stacey (my APO big and all around Good Person).
