Why, for instance, do people think they're doing me a favor by not letting me know if I'm being annoying? I (usually) don't do it intentionally. I'd much rather be told "Lizzy... shut up" than to realize well after the fact that I was driving everyone in the room nuts.
And for that matter, I don't really understand myself. Why am I so completely unable to keep my mouth shut when it matters?
