Aug. 16th, 2005 07:19 pmI had three doctor's appointments today. Dermo, optometrist, and general checkup.
Dermatologist:
I love this doctor. I really do. But I hate her desk staff. And they're just so incredibly busy these days. I got there at 8 for the 8:30 appointment (which the staff changed on us last week; it'd been at 1 PM or so). Spent a half hour waiting in the waiting room and forty minutes after that in one of the offices wearing one of those paper "gowns." THEN the doctor showed up. Good thing I had this appointment first, actually, as they hadn't faxed the paperwork they were SUPPOSED to fax to my primary doctor. So between getting the copies and the checkup, that was another twenty minutes. So we skedaddled out of there and picked my sister up for the next appointment.
On the plus side, I was clear. And if I'm clear again in December, I can go back to dermo visits twice a year instead of four times.
Eye Doctor:
Yeah, it's a good thing we hit every green light in the state on the way here. As it was, we were only five minutes late instead of fifteen or more. Nothing much to speak of here. Same prescription as last time. And this was Laura's year to have her eyes dilated, not mine.
We then drove from the Tech Center to Chatfield to drop Laura off at her friend's. Our mom and Kelly's often pick up driving the girls to and from band practice. Then, lunch and a couple errands. Home for a few minutes (at which point I posted voting at
legible_icons, finally) and then,
Checkup:
Nothing to speak of here, either. Same height, same weight... 5th percentile for height, 10th for weight, but that's nice and proportionate. Doing well otherwise, too. Dr. K likes how they're feeding me at Centre.
We then went to Costco for groceries.
In summary,
Aurora -> Tech Center -> Chatfield -> U. Hills -> Aurora -> Centennial -> Aurora.
