I ♥ Olivia. She was being a squirmy little thing when I changed her diaper yesterday and the following conversation ensued:
Me: *has gotten the dirty diaper off and reaches for the clean one she's set out*
Olivia: *squirms out from under my hand, stands on the table, laughs like a maniac*
Me: Hey, sweetie, you've gotta lie down on the table, k? *picks Olivia up and lays her down* There we go. I don't think your mom and dad would like it if we let you go commando. (pause) Can you say "commando?"
Olivia: Commando! *laughs*
Me: *laughs like mad*
Olivia: *realizes that whatever she said made me laugh* Commando, commando, commando! *keeps repeating it until it kind of sounds like "bananda"*
Me: *finally gets the clean diaper on and goes to show Auntie Min Olivia's new word*
I also taught her to say "Forsberg." And at one point she spontaneously reached up, put her hand on my cheek, and said "Missed you."
*runs off to Grandma's*

Try repeating "buckle" to her -- little kids like the sound of it: 'tis a silly word, as the Monty Pythons say.
