Jul. 9th, 2004 08:16 pmGot to Olivia-sit today. Loads of fun. She is such a sweetiepie! Nine and a half months old and starting to talk. She says "dada" and "cup" and "book" (guess who taught her that? ;) ) and about twenty other words, and is learning so many. And she's officially crawling now! Such a sweetie.
And I'm signed up for driver's-ed for Wednesday through Sunday. (If any Aspies live near someplace like this, then sign up.) Spoke with their resident OT the other day. I have stuff set up for all five days. All day. Trouble is, the only way we could fit this in was to have Wednesday through Friday in Loveland. So that's 2 hours either way... maybe we should get a hotel room to save the commute. But I'll have my permit and such. Since I'm 18, the "50 hours" rule doesn't applay to me. Theoretically, I could get my permit and then take a drive test and have my licence. Eheh. Realistically, I'll probably make full use of my permit (must check out-of-state driving rules) and finish up at MasterDrive over winter break. So ends the "so why don't you drive yet?" portion of my life.
Oh. While cousin-sitting, I made full use of my uncle's satellite TV. SciFi was showing a Quantum Leap marathon. Including The Leap Home. Reminds me why I like Scott Bakula, even if I loathe Jonathan Archer.

Date: 2004-07-10 04:19 pm (UTC)To explain, they're cousins, my sisters' kids, but they were born only three days apart. So when I tell people how old they are, in months, people always ask "are they twins?"
