Got to Olivia-sit today. Loads of fun. She is such a sweetiepie! Nine and a half months old and starting to talk. She says "dada" and "cup" and "book" (guess who taught her that? ;) ) and about twenty other words, and is learning so many. And she's officially crawling now! Such a sweetie.

And I'm signed up for driver's-ed for Wednesday through Sunday. (If any Aspies live near someplace like this, then sign up.) Spoke with their resident OT the other day. I have stuff set up for all five days. All day. Trouble is, the only way we could fit this in was to have Wednesday through Friday in Loveland. So that's 2 hours either way... maybe we should get a hotel room to save the commute. But I'll have my permit and such. Since I'm 18, the "50 hours" rule doesn't applay to me. Theoretically, I could get my permit and then take a drive test and have my licence. Eheh. Realistically, I'll probably make full use of my permit (must check out-of-state driving rules) and finish up at MasterDrive over winter break. So ends the "so why don't you drive yet?" portion of my life.

Oh. While cousin-sitting, I made full use of my uncle's satellite TV. SciFi was showing a Quantum Leap marathon. Including The Leap Home. Reminds me why I like Scott Bakula, even if I loathe Jonathan Archer.

How strange. Three words at nine months, but just starting crawling? The "twins" both said their first words closer to a year (good-girl and stop for Ana, hi, no, and ba-ba for Seth) but they were crawling by six months. Just goes to show that babies don't age the same way.

Yeah, I know they are, it just surprised me because the "twins" are the only babies I know.

To explain, they're cousins, my sisters' kids, but they were born only three days apart. So when I tell people how old they are, in months, people always ask "are they twins?"

Driving is overrated ;)

See, Quantum Leap is part of the reason I don't like Archer. After seeing Scott Bakula in a dress...it sort of ruins the whole effect of being captain.

Babies rule!

As for Bakula, always loved him even if Archer *is* an ass.

Now, Tucker ... aljfdasl;jfdl;asjfd

Ehehe. I still get the "why don't you drive" bit. Mostly from the auto repair shop guys who change my oil whenever I remember to have that done. I DO drive... but mostly I just bus back and forth from work, so not very much.
