I feel like that all the time, at least after I've closed the bookshop and come home for the day. Usually I'm not even close to feeling "over it" the next day, and it takes til my day off to get back on an even keel - by which time I'm back in work again, etc.
If it wasn't for the ocean I'd pop over and give you a cuddle, sounds like you could use it.
It's been shown that stress decreases the ability of the immune system to protect you, and with certain recent LJ entries of yours, I wouldn't be suprised if you had a lot of stress just now.
Either way, it does sound odd to have the flu in July. Hope that you get better soon.
