Mar. 22nd, 2005 09:49 pmThere's a little fucker in
customers_suck who's spamming up the place. And the mod's out of town for the week. At least they've gotten through to her and they're now in the process of deleting the posts.
Speaking of "out of town for the week," here's an account of spring break so far. Expect much, much more later (and pictures) but in short:
Saturday: Arrived, hung out, watched a little TV.
Sunday: Monuments in the morning (WWII, Vietnam, Lincoln, Korea, and FDR) and we went to the Air and Space Museum for a while to catch the Space Station IMAX show and the planetarium. (Well, and avoid the rain...) Came back to the hotel, ordered pizza and watched Fight Club and Quantum Leap.
Monday: Spent the morning meandering around town. We ended up spending much of the afternoon in the American History Museum and then walked around the Tidal Basin at sunset. The Jefferson Memorial is very pretty at night. Watched Spider-Man 2.
Today: Back to Air and Space, this time for the exhibits. We then went to Georgetown, ate Persian food, conquered the steps from The Exorcist, looked around Georgetown University (very pretty campus), browsed some of the stores (I got a Family Guy DVD for $9), ate Mexican food (amazing chili but I now have what can only be heartburn), walked back to the subway stop, and got back here.
