Just wrote that paper for HHP (well, not "just" but I did it tonight). In order to stay awake while doing it, I wrote it all in monosyllables. Let's see if the teacher gives a damn. Bet he won't.
I remember writing a HHP paper about proper safety precautions which made a reference to The Night Ol' Farmer Dan's Cows Got Loose On The Road, and someone in the same class put "I bet you're not even going to read this" somewhere in his paper.
There are worse compulsory classes; the ones I've had to sit through included basic chemistry for biology, basic maths for biology, basic IT skills for biology (all at a high school level), career skills, professional development, and even a course on how to correctly write an academic paper, including bibliography, the correct usage of footnotes, citations, and even the mandatory word processor settings for font, margins and line spacing (I bet you never knew universities won't allow you to submit work in Comic Sans!). That's also "mandatory word processor settings" as in "you can't submit handwritten work" - and I know a lot of people who are very unhappy about that.
Well, we didn't - but lucky for me, I'm smart enough to read the course handbook that contains all this info, and to fill in the gaps with library research. Sadly, that was what made them such intolerable classes. They were for all the people who couldn't be bothered and wanted to be spoon-fed with the information.

Anyhow, work is calling... must be off!
