Meeting went well. We just confirmed that we want to change rooms and will put in for a room change at the end of the week (soonest time they'll allow.) Shannon still "doesn't feel comfortable" sleeping in here. I'm not sure what to make of that.

The US Marine Band is playing here tonight. Can't wait!

That is going to be one heck of an impressive bang - and I remember the last one. Good luck with relocating, I don't know what Shannon's big problem is but I'm starting to think she's a jerk. Frankly, if she's going to act like that, she can go sleep on the sofa in the common room or something for all I care.

Eheh. You have the right idea about her. Our personality difference can be summarized in two sentences:

1. She expects everyone to kiss her ass.
2. I refuse.

And she's sleeping across the hall. In her "real" friends' room. First couple nights because we'd had that argument (thus the "uncomfortable" but I'm still not sure how honest that answer was) and now because she stays out all night "being silly." And since she can't be bothered to take her key with her, I have to keep the door unlocked when I sleep or risk being awakened at 4 AM when she knocks or calls to be let in.

The sad part is, I like every other one of my hallmates. Even when they're in "I used to be introverted but I snapped out of it" mode.

Anyway, off to dry my hair (yeah, I can shower at 1 AM).

Meep. Volcanos are scary enough, but there was a Giant Alien Mutant Fly attacking it earlier! (or not... one of my coworkers forwarded us the picture where a fly was crawling over the camera lens)

Reminds me of an evil prank... how to rewrite any movie to include an attack by Mothra!
All you need is one cinema projector and one jar of moths. Make sure you've already seen the movie once so you know the optimal timing for this stunt, and sit near the back so the projector is the brightest light near you.
Simply wait for an opportune moment and release the moths. Voila! Instant Mothra attack. Now if only you could do the same with Gamera and Rodan...
