Taking a break from writing.
Aug. 15th, 2008 07:33 pmWhy is it that the really cool animals are a lot easier to see when it rains? It's been raining all day and barely cracked 55 degrees Fahrenheit, and I've heard a red-tailed hawk (possibly the same one as the one from here) and seen a dragonfly.
Actually, the dragonfly has been around all day. He's clinging to the edge of my window (on the outside, of course), presumably to escape the cold and the rain. I tried getting pictures of it, but the camera keeps focusing on the window screen instead, which means I get to play with focus! Yay.
Also, I woke up about 12 times last night because my sinuses are so damn blocked. So now my sleep schedule's pretty well screwed, since while I *got* 8 hours of sleep, they weren't all in a row.
Also also, I really am going to post about
exor674's and my adventure in the rain today. I just haven't gotten around to typing it up.
