OK, I just have to type this up sometime, even though I had the dream a few nights ago. First of all, you should know that I don't have recurring dreams, just recurring places in my dreams. My dream-school, for instance, has kind of the same layout, but it's much larger and has a lot of features that another local public school (which I used to have choir performances at) has. The third story (which my school doesn't have) has the science classrooms, which are laid out the same as my old school. There's also a rather small fourth floor, where French is taught. It's accessed by a trapdoor and has loads of lockers and whatnot. Quite cozy. It's not really a floor so much as a donut-shaped hallway that houses the French department. There's also a playground and a substantial-sized ball cabinet. (Where's that "Vulcan" smilie from Terran when you need it?) The lunchroom's mostly the same, but the foodstore's larger and laid out differently (I've had a few dreams about that too.)

Anyway, the dream begins in one of the science rooms (third floor, remember?), right above said ball cabinet/playground. The place is mostly lit by black light, and everybody except me is wearing pink. (One other important thing to remember is that I don't dream of faces or anything; if I know somebody's dream identity, I still don't process the face. I just know that "she's my mother." Or "he's [whoever.]") Anyway, the students are rather generic except for a couple, whose identities don't really matter in the dream. Anyway, there's chaos for a while; I keep getting left behind and ignored and the other typical middle/high school BS I get. Eventually, everybody else decides to just run out, but we're all wearing bright yellow (when this changed is beyond me, but it's yellow now), and I don't want to get caught, so I run about halfway out of the school then run back. The room is now more reminiscent of my 7th grade classroom. First my 9/10th grade science teacher shows up for a minute, and looks for everybody (I pretend they're all hiding in the room or something). She leaves and is soon replaced by my 7/8th grade science teacher, a rather formidable and eccentric man. We get to talking (because I'm still the only student in there), and he mentions that he keeps a goat in the ball cupboard (remember that?) I lean waaaaaaaaay out the window (abnormally so, but considering it's a dream, it's perfectly normal) and notice that the goat is now escaping. I point this out, and the teacher runs off. I know he won't get there in time, as the goat's escaping rather quickly, so I keep an eye on the goat from the window. Next thing I know, I see this thing (looks like a dog but is shaped like a weasel) at the edge of the property (why the Highline Canal passes by my dream-school is beyond me, but it does), and suddenly I'm there investigating. The dogweasel is gone, but the goat's right there. I follow him along the path into the forest (!), where the goat is now a gigantic earthworm (!!) (think the diameter of a 1-liter bottle), and even though I didn't see it transform, I know it's the same. I follow it to the edge and back (and the path is pure mud, so I am really just walking along looking for motion under the mud) while listening to the radio (99.5, oddly enough.), even though I don't have any radio or form of music near me. We reach the end of the path and turn around. When we reach the outside edge of the forest (which, I neglected to mention, is another recurring dreamscape; there are plains with one path outside the forest), he's a goat again, and the weaseldog shows up again, even though it doesn't do anything but follow me. I don't get back to the school before waking up.

Odd indeed

I don't claim to be an expert when it comes to dreams, but we both have "recurring dreamscapes."

However, I do know that some people have dreams about things in the future. Maybe a path will open up to you, but you won't take it. Like I said though, I don't know.
