Two bits of news.
Feb. 23rd, 2010 09:22 pm1. Work's been going great, all two days of it I've had. Traffic sucks, and RTD is up to its usual "not realizing that people depend on it" thing, but those are problems I gladly work around.
2. I am no longer the smallest baby to have been born in my family. My oldest cousin had her little girl tonight, and everybody's healthy and happy (if a bit surprised -- her due date was March 10th or so).
NTS: swing by Michaels tomorrow and buy a skein or two of supersoft in a nice color.

Date: 2010-02-24 04:33 am (UTC)Did I mention when I was trying to get downtown to meet my friend for the weekend the 17 was either 30 minutes late or 6 early? So I missed the 9 ( the 9 mighta showed up while I was waiting for a different bus, but I don't think so ), so the only other easy way downtown involved upgrading to express fair, jumping on the 6X, then taking the light rail into downtown. --- really pissed Dre off, especially the standing for 40 minutes or so in the SNOW freezing my toes off!
2. Aww, preemie :( Thank goodness she's healthy.

Date: 2010-02-24 05:08 am (UTC)Of course, I can't blame RTD for failing on the return trip. Once I'm done training, I'm going to play with my schedule so my twenty-minute bus ride doesn't take me an hour and change.
Yep. I don't know too much now, but everybody's happy and healthy, and resting comfortably in the hospital she'd been planning to give birth in before they had to reroute to the smaller local clinic. Her first kid was a nine-pounder, so this is probably just the law of averages kicking in.
