yes that's right. nice to meet you too. glad you have your heating, it was freezing here yesterday and my heating wasn't as on as i thought it would be.

Well, that's a novel approach. Me, I just contented myself with grousing against the idiots that heckled people for daring to sign the "turn the heat on" petition (each dorm had to have a certain percentage of residents sign before they'd turn it on, or off), and attempted to do my homework in gloves.

It's really hard to type while you're wearing gloves, BTW.

Hope you feel better soon, and that you get your heat back soon too. =/

Heh. Aside from the fact that that would be PAINFUL, you'd likely bleed to death.

Me, i'd just get a portable heater (IF the institution in question would let me).

Unfortunately, the institution in question doesn't allow space heaters. The rule makes sense, though. It also makes for a rather cold room.

When your room is 8x9 feet (not including a small passageway), *everything* is near something flammable. Granted, it's a single, but still.
