Random Thought
Nov. 21st, 2004 12:00 amI'm about 2/3 of the way through "The Forge." Unless they spring a "Zero Hour"-style twist on us, this is my new favorite ENT episode. And there isn't even any Trip/T'Pol so far. One thing I do wish is that the story arcs weren't all three episodes long, or at least that we don't get so many consecutive ones.
Enterprise is like high school, kind of. Freshman year, you start out trying to make a good impression on everyone and it either goes well and you keep doing what you're doing or it doesn't and your popularity/grades/status in general/whatever declines. In this case, it's the latter. Sophomore year you stop trying to live up to people's expectations because sophomore year doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, and it comes back to bite you. Junior year you try really really hard to recover your grades because junior year's what colleges scrutinize. Senior year, you get the hang of it at last. Now I just hope senioritis doesn't kick in.

Date: 2004-11-21 08:10 pm (UTC)What did you think of The Forge? And what do you think of Koss now? This brings a whole new perspective to Home... first off, what if T'Les wasn't really ousted because of T'Pol but because she's a Syrranite and therefore a threat? If so, why did T'Les lie to T'Pol? And why would Koss want to marry her? If he's with the VHC (which I suspect), then I think it's because he wants to save her from T'Les' influence. If he's with the Syrranites (which I seriously doubt), then he'd want to keep her safe. Did you notice his attempts at intimacy with T'Pol and how she basically brushed him off? That's a Very Good Sign for T/T.
Seriously. I even enjoyed the Archer/T'Pol interaction in this. And that's something. I like this Archer. *is scared* I've even thought of a T/T fic based on this. *is extra scared*
They're going to screw it up. I just know they're going to screw it up somehow.

Date: 2004-11-22 07:18 pm (UTC)Lord, the T/T shipper in me is confused because it seems like Koss just might actually care for T'Pol. The way he tried to be intimate, how he took the care to get the IDIC to her and how delicately he told her about T'Les just makes me want to like him right now. GAH!
Oh and I love Archer this season, but why the hell do I like Koss???!!! Dammit, this is good tv :-)
