Dec. 23rd, 2004 07:05 pmI'll get to this as well as finishing the last meme I posted *sheepish grin* as soon as I finish petsitting and then dinner. (Neighbors are in Rome for a week visiting their daughter and grandson. I'm feeding their cat and making sure their pipes don't explode.)
1. Comment and I'll pick one of your LJ interests and draw you a picture, using the mighty MS Paint.
2. You have no say in what I draw you! Or in how much it will suck! (And believe me, it will!)
3. Put this in your journal. And the pic someone drew for you.
(I took this from
nerdcakes, whom I found on friendsfriends. If/when she draws me a pic (she's a total stranger so she might not) I'll post it here.)

Date: 2004-12-24 07:29 pm (UTC)Well, it's unavoidable, really. Water condenses (as do the pipes) as it freezes, and it expands faster than the pipes as it melts. It's usually only a problem when people who leave their house for any length of time turn the heat off but not the water (not an issue here as they have a cat who has to stay unfrozen) or drafty houses. Their basement tends to freeze up so I always check on it, just to make sure.
