Disjointed ramblings ahoy!
Dec. 26th, 2004 05:26 pmIt's 5 PM and I'm still in my pajamas. Life is very good. I slept until noon today because I was so exhausted from yesterday. Mom's asleep now, which kind of sucks. I have to be around to answer the phone if it rings (unwritten family rule: if there's somebody capable of answering the phone in the house while someone else is asleep/showering/working on something in the basement, that person has to stay available as long as possible in case the phone rings or something happens) until either Mom wakes up or Dad gets home (he's dropping Laura off at a friend's. First time I can think of him doing something like that since I was seven or eight and he'd pick me up from school occasionally.) Kind of puts a dent in my plans to shower before it gets late or cold (my hair's thick so it takes forever to dry).
I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamed I was a contestant on some kind of game show but I was really a spy trying to infiltrate the set and find the person who's planted bombs. For some reason the dream involved nudity and communal showers, but unfortunately it was only interesting in the surreal sense: very, very little "other people" nudity and quite a lot of "me" nudity. (Glenn, don't say it. I know you're thinking it. ;) )
OK, Dad's back. I think I'm gonna make myself dinner (Dad doesn't like cooking for two. He'll cook for one, three, or four, but rarely more or two. Weird...), then shower. I also plan to print out a few more labels for my Messiah CDs (of course, that means actually making more of them in the first place). papercdcase.com is very, very cool. Very.
Don't know why I haven't been posting at Terran lately. Gonna have to fix that.
I should also make a Dory icon (as in Finding Nemo) just for entries like this. Oooh, something shiny!
