Well, stuff's happened, all right.
Jan. 4th, 2005 10:14 pmI could not for the life of me get to sleep last night (AGAIN) until way too late for my own good. Barely stayed awake through my class. Decided to forgo getting quarters for laundry (it'll still be there tomorrow, after all) in favor of a nap, from which I woke up at around 6:30. Damn, that was good.
I just got an e-mail from Mom. Grandma wasn't feeling well and Dad had an appointment in the same hospital as the cardiologist, so Mom dropped Dad off and took Grandma to the cardiologist's. Her heart rate was so low and her blood pressure was so high that the doctor admitted her to the hospital. It's bad news, obviously, because she's not doing well. But she's getting the care she lacked at home. What surprises me is that Dad was fine with that when he so vociferously objected to hospitalizing his father.
