This is the other part of having been cut I don't like. Everyone on the hall is congratulating each other and hugging and everyone has signs up saying what they got into and everything.
You have to keep in mind that the downside of being hugged and congratulated for being picked to be in a sorority is that one must then be a member of a sorority. That's too high a price to pay, in my opinion.
Michelle just mentioned that at dinner tonight. She's suggested we make signs for everyone on the hall who's independent. :) I agree that it would be fun to do! So we'll have to work out an afternoon to make some :)
*hug* Big deal if you got cut. I think it was Groucho Marx who said "I don't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member". The only reason you didn't get picked is because you're attractive, mature and smart enough to outclass the bunch of 'em on all three fronts, and the people who're important in your life know it.
