hopefulnebulaI love laundry. I really do. I love having fresh, clean clothes. I love the smell of freshly dried laundry and just laundry in general (the whole going up and down three flights of stairs twelve times in three hours is a different matter, though).
I do not love the other people who do laundry. They need a little primer:
-Pick up your damned clothes when the cycle's done. Within five or ten minutes I can understand. Three hours is unacceptable and if you complain when I toss your clothes into the corner because every other washing machine is taken, I'll just laugh. (I did this after the clothes had been abandoned for at least forty minutes and had probably been there for longer.)
-PICK UP YOUR DAMNED CLOTHES WHEN THE CYCLE'S DONE.
-Empty the lint filter when you're done with the dryer. If you fail to do this and then proceed to complain about how crappy the dryers are, I will wish holes in all your underpants. It's only "gross" because nobody empties it. Use a used static sheet; those work really well. And by the way, if one of you starts a fire, I will hunt you down and force-feed you said lint.
By the way, I hate matching socks.
