Evidently I was wrong.
This time I took the comp back anyway, though, and plan on calling the manager in the morning. Will also be sending a letter to corporate.
Fucking liars. It's a good thing I've chosen not to work for them on the off chance they *do* end up hiring me, so I can rant about them as publicly as I damn well please.
And I was in such a good mood earlier today too...

[Potentially for the cost of your current laptop, if you are willing to get rid of it -- I'll need to look into what I can sell that for, compared to what I can get for the iBook, etc...] -- only annoying thing with doing it that way would be no GW w/ you anymore. :(
