Well, I've done it. It was relatively painless, at that. Aeryn's in the shop. I love being right all the time--the guy took one look at it and goes "yep, it's the hard drive. Easy fix but we'll still have to triage it and all that. So it'll be a few days." The good news: they'll ship straight to Centre, so I don't need to beg for a ride some weekend. The best news: unless they discover something untoward that I'm completely unaware of doing, it's covered under warranty. Even the shipping.

In other news, I'm still about a... a very tiny distance from getting voted off therealljidol. If it goes to a runoff, I'm going to post again tomorrow and bother you all again. I know community-only votes are a pain in the ass, but it takes all of thirty seconds to join, vote, and leave. (Unless you're on a connection like this one, in which case it's closer to five minutes. But if I can do it in five minutes, so can you.)
