Date: 2008-10-16 02:29 am (UTC)Typing tools are like those special pencil grips or insta-spellcheck on web browsers or word processors: fine for most other people, but I can't work with them. It's why it took me two years to learn QWERTY. (Well, that and the fact that the typing "teacher" at my school taught primarily PE, and shouldn't have been allowed to teach either subject.) It sticks better for me when I write useful things and am allowed to correct my own mistakes.
